A Family Trail
Today I was able to partake in one of the many traditions of my family. A trail hike to one of our places near the river to do a ritual called “PADUGO” or “HALAD”. Every year we do this tradition to honor the land and to give back to the etheral beings that hold it. I wasnt able to join last year because I was a slouch… but 2012 is the beginneing of adventures so I had to bolt out of my bed to join this event even if my body was slowing down :( thanks to a beer jugging adventure the day before (boo! lol).
So early in the morning I was huffing and puffing cold air in the middle of a “cliffy” trail near a spent out river. I really thought I wasnt capable of finishing that journey but I was able to pull it of so it was amazing. I was embracing nature once again and realizing how a fool I have been for not seeking adventure before. In the end we were able to do the tradition in our area, cooked the food and ate ^^ then headed back home. Now my feet are aching and my knees are pulsating LOL but I feel amazing..so much so that after the journey I went to the mall and bought myself a CAMPING TENT…. hahahaahaha I guess for me in 2012 adventure and outdoors is the theme. BRING IT!!!

Today I busted myself out of bed on an early time for a weekend (slept 12am 0_o) to go to “TIBASAK” Evacuation Center. When I got there it was quite, calm and peaceful. Still the people in that area continued with their daily activities plus I heard that Ateneo de Manila Ball club will be playing on their covered courts tonight 6pm which I pressumed will be a great thing to see but Im not into crowded sceneries.. well… not yet at least ^^. When the clock was nearing 11 am my Medical Officer called me up and told me that the Cavity Medical Team will be arriving shortly and that I should assist them. In a few minutes they did arrive… 5 doctors…friendly,cool and great doctors… Then the medical mission began. They brought with them goods like used clothes,slippers and milk for the flood victims. They also bought a hefty supply of medicines. Together with a friend of mine (ASok block B citizen Member) we were able to dispense medicines to the people in that area.
Its always a good feeling to meet new people, especially if the people are from out of town because they Talk so much of your Town (CDO) and the places in the town and you get to share your knowledge on your City and get to ask about theirs. Their Team Leader Dr. Randy gave me his number and told me to call him if ever I am in Cavite. I though to myself..how cool would that be… I know Cavite is a far of place from here but hey I started looking for adventure on 2012 and one of the opportunities just came up…right now a trip to Cavite would be kick ass.
No FB still in Play ^^
My dedication to kicking myself out of facebook has been quite successful (so far :p). FB has become such a distraction that I find myself lost in time again through reading status, watching pictures and trying my best to blurt out a witty-sometimes-funny type of comment on one of those boxes. To my dismay time spent on FB can be time spent on something else which would spell “productive” perfectly in my book. So the FB banned is still in effect in honoring my sports idols coach Bill Billichick and New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady (who refuse to join the social ultimate hype that is Facebook). When the Superbowl ends I will open my facebook once again and decide if I should continue to the path of the social Media.

Birth and Creation: CDOkada’s 1st Bday!!!
Perhaps everything starts with an idea, maybe some a stroke of genius maybe others a major stroke of luck but to whatever path it may be, to what reason it may have, we can all witness the miracle of an idea in the head coming into reality..seeing it, feeling it and best of all laughing with it.
CDoKada was an idea… a memory inside the tiny cells in our brain, and idea that continued to cycle into one person’s mind until that person decided to put that idea to work. As the wheels of time churned and maybe aided by destiny the idea molded in reality and that right there is a miracle. Call me shallow but I tend to see beauty in the simplicity of things.
The fact of the matter is Cdokada was created, out of an idea in thin air, out of inspiration for the awesome world of tumblr, out of hundreds of thoughts each day Cdokada at a certain moment in time was the one thought of…
Now as the day approaches, you cannot help but look back and reminisce on the glorious moments that shaped Cdokada, from the moment it was created to the people that stood for it, to the people that followed it and most specialy to the people that loved it. There is no prize here, not a contest, no pot of gold in the end of all this, no medals or huge trophies… just people… simple people really but with extraodenary minds… minds that think and minds that act. People that speak their minds and share their ideas.
As I look back on my jpurney with Cdokada, it is surely a memory of ages and Im looking forward for more… and now as the moment lay before us… we will take time to celebrate Cdokada… we will rejoice and gather once again to soldify our goals and build stronger bonds and ultimately become more than who we are right now…for the better! Together let us listen once again to the pulse of this hearbeat who has inspired us all year long. Happy 1st Bday CDokada!!! More power!!!

Buying Friendships
I just saw the film THE SOCIAL NETWORK… and it was a great movie…especially if you are a facebook user which almost everyone is in this planet… THe movie aroused emotions and I was really amazed by how the actors acted.
Then again I was more interested in this question…

It makes me wonder if Mark was all about the Money or all about himself….
Maybe Money does make the world go round…and with all the money in the world (if you can have it) maybe it would be difficult to find priceless moments….
Does money change people? or Do people change money? hahaahaah
All I know is…it must be shitty place to decide between money and friendship….but here is the thing… in the end Mark did PAY UP… so does this mean it was ALL GOOD ?
hmmm…. maybe along the strings of reality… Friendship has really a price.
week 14: Sparks
I can say that I have started the ball rolling again on my fitness… last week by far was the most productive week of the YEAR! 2011… a year from now though it might be the end 2012…tsk…scary hahahaha
But I am happy of the week I was able to do 80% of my exercises and 70% of my diet…. still so much room for improvement…but it was great. It wasnt easy though… my facial grimace in the gym is becoming routine… had to learn the phrase “no pain no gain” on a reality level ahhahaah but its all good! apparently in my case I have to WORK for my looks! (or some part of it :P).
So week 14 is rocking commin and its April… so TULI Team here we come! its gonna be a busy month…but Im ready to inject my workouts and diet into it…. It will be challenging… then again… that is where we grow…when we crawl out of our individual safe boxes and experience hardships and trials…experience change…experience life. :) hahaha
Week 14 here we go!..Imma gonna do better than 13!

- More focus on Meal plans
- Discipline on cravings
- Prioritizing (masteral requirments are hanging in the balance!)
- GOALS! GOALS GOALS!
I cant wait to gut it all out in this coming week… wohoo! Thank you GOd for the Experience of life… wohoo!
